1/20 HP Diaphragm Air Compressor Kit
For small ponds. This small, continuous duty pump is ideal for aeration of smaller, shallow ponds. 1/20 HP pump will operate to a depth of 12'. Kit includes air compressor, 50' clear vinyl tubing, 2 rubber membrane air diffusers with check valve and underlay, fittings and clamps. Compressor draws 1.5 amps electricity and pumps .7 CFM of air. PA10W kit replaces the vinyl tubing with 50' of weighted tubing.

The deeper an air diffuser is located, the more boiling action it will create and a larger area will be aerated. Example: Our PA33 pond aerator would aerate only 1/8 of an acre if operated in 4' deep water, while aerating up to 1 1/2 acres if operating in 18' - 20' of water. Ponds that are irregular or odd shaped will also reduce size of aeration area -- call one of our technical assistance folks for additional help.  |
 Long, narrow ponds may require multiple diffusers to properly aerate the entire pond. Square, circular and oval ponds can usually be aerated from one central diffuser if one acre or less in size. |
